Nice to virtually meet you! Here's some background about me.

I’m Jodi, a wife, and mom. Born in Omaha, and raised my family in Michigan. Together 30 years with my husband, John, we transitioned from corporate jobs to successful business ownership. Through start-ups, acquisition, non-profit and franchises, we have learned so much. Many have asked for advice through the years, and we have coached hundreds who are curious and looking for wisdom and insights.

Jodi’s career transitioned from developing parts to developing people, having worked in engineering, new product development, manufacturing, leadership development, outplacement, and next generation coaching & training for top Fortune companies and private family offices. John has covered more than 70 countries, helping others grow and or start businesses.  Having crossed that bridge to business owner,  it’s a joy to help others find and explore possibilities.

We have enjoyed greater quality of life as business owners, raising our amazing kids (now adults), and traveled most continents of the world as a family, because, well, we could!

We live in Zeeland, Michigan on a small hobby farm and enjoy Lake Michigan beaches. Hospitality is a core value and we enjoy cooking, gardening, and sharing the gift of hospitality from small gatherings to 100 people.

Coaching highlights

Career Transition is an area in which I have been up close & personal, helping hundreds navigate reactively or proactively.  Today, wisdom continues to teach us that change is a constant. The forever job-career is a rarity.  Companies grow & contract.

  • From 2020- 2023 over 3 year results:  1076 career change seekers had a coaching conversation. 441 became clients.  131 clients took the discovery journey to gain  education and explore business ownership possibilities.
  • 2010, co-founded 3 businesses. Provided sales training, coaching & consulting throughout Southeast Asia.
  • 2007 experienced a reduction in force & first-hand received the benefits of career transition coaching.
  • 2004 Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, providing Corporate Coaching resources for a fortune 100.
  • 2001-2002 Co-led Career Transition Center for the Herman Miller Company helping 700+ downsized employees prepare to land confidently for their next season.
