Back in August of 2021, Jodi Oren, a career coach with The Entrepreneur’s Source reached out to me on LinkedIn to inquire about my career goals and if I’d ever considered business ownership as a possibility. Her inquiry was met with 
skepticism but that did not deter her. Why would this “stranger” be contacting me? She was patient, positive and encouraging… never forced business ownership upon me but got to know me, my strengths, my goals and my aspirations – both personally and professionally. I am so thankful she did!
A Learning Journey
When we first started our discovery journey, I was not leaning toward business ownership. I had thought about it many times but had no idea how to get started or how I would ever have the money to do something like that even if I wanted to. I had always worked multiple jobs and made just enough to live comfortably but did not have a lot extra. At times, it has been hard to support myself while remaining driven and focused on what I wanted professionally. Jodi met me where I was on my journey, was patient, supportive and helped connect me to the right resources in order to learn more.
“ALL IN” on me
In February of 2022, I ended up taking a leap of faith and “jumping” into the next phase of my professional career…business ownership. For once, I am going “all in” on me and my skills and talents. I ended up choosing to utilize my teaching, coaching and training skills but this time with fur-babies and their owners. I chose (and was chosen) to be a part of a highly successful and one of the fastest growing dog training franchises in the United States…Always Faithful Dog Training…founded by a former United States Marine K-9 Handler. It is leadership-based training techniques…No Treats, No Clickers, No Shock Collars, NO GIMMICKS! Real training, real results.
I now have the privilege of doing what I love, all day, every day – teaching, coaching, and training – in order to help dogs and their owners become happier, healthier, more harmonious packs. I help empower dog owners to be the packleaders their fur-babies desire while still honoring the dog/breed.
Rejuvenated with Purpose
My journey to business ownership has been more than a professional one – it has been psychologically empowering, spiritually uplifting, emotionally satisfying, and has rejuvenated my passion again and reconnected me to my purpose in this life.
